Last time you heard from me I said I was changing my branding, killing this newsletter, starting a new one, etc etc.. One thing I believe: minds are for changing. Let's just say I've changed my mind about some stuff.Â
Misslujo is still alive and well. It's still my outlet for art-making and creativity-obsessing. I have been fortunate to take on some new client projects recently (which I am grateful for) and I am super proud of finally releasing Lujo Zine into the wild this summer. Finding the creative energy to produce this project over the past year felt too big at times. I'm happy to say we sold out of our first pressing. Even our companion playlist got a little love in local Ojai rag, The Vortex. yay <3
Right now, I'm most excited about a little project called Creative Guts. What was going to be a newsletter has become a portal for creatives of all kinds (makers, artists, musicians, etc) to find resources and collaborators, connections and community.
