I know it's been a while and I have some updates to share. But first, can we talk about rainbows?

I love rainbows. I used to doodle them incessantly on my binders in school. Kids used to make fun of me. But I can't help my love. To this day, when I see one, I am visibly shook. That woman standing in the middle of the street, pointing and yelling at everyone to look up in the sky? Yeah. That would be me.

Check out this pic of the visible light spectrum. Guess what? We're like that prism. The light passes through us and BOOM. So many colors, so many expressions. A frickin' rainbow! Our differences, our uniqueness...you can trace them all back to the same source: LIGHT.

Lucky for us, Spring is here. Daylight Saving! More light! And on the heels of a really tough year, my hope is that we can get in the way of that light. That we can remember what it feels like when light moves through us. That we don't have to chose one color, but that we are quite literally ALL THE COLORS.

Now for those updates! 

This will be my last email as misslujo. I am changing my branding back to my name. I've wanted to do this for a while and when my 'misslujo' Instagram account was hacked last week, I took it as a sign. I hope you'll connect with me at @joceaucoin if we're not yet connected.

I am launching a new newsletter called Creative Guts! I think creativity is so important. And so misunderstood! My plan is to write about creativity and the guts it takes to become who you really are. If you reply to this email with your favorite snack (this is mine), I will add you to the list. 

Last but not least, Lujo Zine is coming this summer! Originally slated for a Feb release, the timing didn't feel right. Now with good vibes in the air, we will release it this summer. You can follow the action here.
